Shawn Green aka Tarashi. Hip Hop and it’s roots are my primary interest (funk/soul/jazz breaks). I’ve never played any instruments.
I’m primarily a freestyle MC, I was ahead of my time back in the mid 90’s when I was mixing traditional battle MC type delivery with “nerdcore” topics. Dabbling in local freestyle sessions and the quickly emerging internet MC community, I appeared on a few underground compilations in the Bay Area hip hop scene. Moving to Camrbidge, MA to work at Harmonix has allowed me to resurrect my MC skills on the Oxytocin project. My past projects include work with MCs Moon, Torch, Wyn in the crew Mass Hysteria.
